Module agents and evidence

Each module has an agent that gathers public evidence through an allow-listed proxy; nothing affects a score unless you confirm it.

When an assessment opens, the module's agent runs its adapters (for example ABR and ASIC for M01, IP Australia and AusTender for M04, DNS and tech-stack checks on your own domain for M09). Every finding is stored as an evidence record with source URL, retrieval date, extraction method and confidence.

  • Proposals answer an instrument item and are offered for you to confirm, correct or reject.
  • Context rows never score anything; they appear in the context panel on the instrument and on widget detail pages, labelled external and unconfirmed.
  • Agents cannot write responses or scores. A source that is down degrades the module to your own entries; it never blocks completion.
  • Outbound calls go only to hosts on the module's allow-list, which the Powering Australia Administrator sets, with a monthly spend cap. Paid sources (ASIC extracts, credit reports, Crunchbase) are off unless enabled, and a credit report additionally needs your explicit consent in the M06 instrument.
  • Individual-level data is never gathered from third parties (M10 and M11 use company-level job ads and public reviews as context only).
